This question is asked very often, and the answer is quite simple — from the day the puppy crosses the threshold of your home.
Training is not just about developing specific behaviors on certain commands. It involves shaping the behavior, lifestyle, and habits of our dogs according to our needs as owners.
Since our breeding and training efforts are primarily focused on dog sports, we develop the skills required for these activities in our dogs. However, the main focus in our initial training and development of dogs is not just about unnatural movement next to the owner, as some people distant from dog sports might think. The key lies in the principles by which we raise our puppies.
From their very early canine childhood, we cultivate the desire in our puppies to collaborate with humans and love engaging in activities together. This forms the basis for any joint living with our dogs. While we prepare the puppy for future competitions, we don’t hide that. However, it doesn’t mean that if the owner of a sports or service dog is not aiming for competition, these exercises would be unnecessary.
